Halloween Week

Halloween has come and gone and I finally have time to look back at the looks I created! From Candy Skulls to a Unicorn I got to experiment different looks on my flat as well as on myself. I always forget the excitement of getting ready for a night out when you have to power to be as elaborate as you want.

First off I had a class with Sue in which we got to take inspiration from other  Candy Skull creations and then put together our own look in 45 minutes. I worked on Georgia and found I preferred the intricate lines and decoration rather than the "scary" spiderwebs etc so this is where my design started. I also had sequins in my bag from another project that I am currently studying so I incorporated these into the eye decoration. The aim was to make the make up as symmetrical as possible, I particularly struggled with the smudginess of the supra colour so in the future i will lean on a powder puff while apply to the face.

Then it got to the night out! I have a minor obsession with Unicorns so after dying my hair pink recently I felt it was the necessary thing to do! I used my supra colour palette and then a collection of my own make up products. The purple sparkle under the eye was meant to look like purple tears and I even created a horn to complete the look.

Due to there being so many people in my flat some people created there own looks and I did some quick touch ups to finish the look. I helped create the cat Eye flick and also made Harry Potter have a bruised eye. I created a sparkly candy skull look on my friend Ellie then she added a cut throat to make the look more linked to Halloween. Finally I created the skull and cracked doll, and then we were ready to go! Happy Halloween!
